Standing With Persecuted Pastors in India
Serving Christ with courage in Andhra Pradesh and beyond

At Hands of Faith Foundation, we stand in prayer and compassion with pastors and Christian families in India who continue to serve the Lord under pressure. Recent reporting has described worsening religious-freedom concerns in India. In 2025, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom again recommended that India be designated a Country of Particular Concern, and Open Doors ranks India at No. 12 on its 2026 World Watch List. In Andhra Pradesh, recent reporting described attacks on churches, rising incidents against Christians, and even social boycott against some Christian families.

In many rural communities, a pastor is more than a preacher. He is a shepherd, counselor, prayer warrior, encourager, and servant to the poor. Yet some pastors continue their ministry while facing hostility, disruption of worship services, false accusations, intimidation, and rejection from local communities. Even in such hardship, faithful servants of God keep preaching the gospel, praying for the sick, comforting widows, guiding young believers, and strengthening the church with courage and humility.

Hands of Faith Foundation carries a burden for these persecuted pastors and vulnerable believers. Our desire is to strengthen those who suffer for the name of Christ through prayer, encouragement, practical support, relief for needy families, and continued gospel ministry in neglected areas. We believe the answer to hatred is not hatred, but the love of Christ, steadfast faith, truth, and compassion.

We ask friends, church leaders, and ministry partners around the world to remember persecuted pastors in India, especially in Andhra Pradesh. Pray that God will protect them, give them boldness, open doors for ministry, and provide for their families. Pray that the church will remain faithful, united, and full of hope. As Scripture teaches, “if one part suffers, every part suffers with it.” When you stand with persecuted believers, you stand with the body of Christ.
